The Workforce Employment Readiness and Connections (WERC) program helps you build real skills, gain confidence, and prepare for employment at no cost to you.
Get hands-on training at our simulated worksites in high-demand industries like construction, hospitality, and agriculture, and more. You will receive certifications, safety tickets, gear, and a monthly allowance during your time in the program. We will also help you connect with employers and find job opportunities.
The WERC program is offered in communities across Alberta, including Calgary, Edmonton, Grande Prairie, High Level, Red Deer, and Whitecourt.
