AgriEdge Careers: Calgary

Ballad Group is delivering the 11-week AgriEdge Careers program where skilled immigrants will learn and gain access to various resources, certifications, and opportunities to enhance their skills and employability in the agriculture business sector.

CORE: Connections, Opportunities, Relationships and Employment is an employment program focused on assisting Youth in Care and Young Adults from care transition into employment.

The Workforce Employment Readiness and Connections Program (WERC, pronounced “work”) is for anyone in the Red Deer region facing barriers to employment.

Essential Skills to Success: Northwest Alberta

Ballad’s customized training facility offers a range of innovative job preparation workshops, as well as practical experience in hospitality and carpentry skills, to individuals working through multiple barriers to employment.

Supply Chain Operations: Edmonton

Ballad has designed an innovative integrated training program that directly responds to industry needs. The Fundamentals of Supply Chain Management (FSCM) will focus on preparing participants for meaningful employment.

Supply Chain Logistics: Calgary

Participants will gain access to Ballad’s extensive employer network. Ballad will continue to provide job-search support and job coaching to FSCL learners during the three-month period after program completion.

Ballad’s Professional Insurance Careers program is a thoughtfully designed initiative to meet the evolving needs of the industry.

Professional Insurance Careers: Calgary

Ballad’s Professional Insurance Careers program is thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of the insurance and finance sector. This 16-week program will provide participants with licensing and workplace essential skills to thrive in the dynamic insurance industry.

Foundations In Hospitality for Indigenous Youth

The Foundations in Hospitality Training Program for Indigenous Youth is an Edmonton-based program that will prepare you for employment and set you on a career path in the exciting and ever-changing hospitality industry in just 11 weeks.

DRIVING BACK TO WORK GRANT PROGRAM

The Driving Back to Work program looks to address the anticipated shortage of commercial truck drivers (over 12%) by the year 2023. The program aims to give unemployed Albertans grant funding that will cover 90% of the cost of the Mandatory Entry Level Training (MELT)
