This program is for anyone in the Brooks region facing employment barriers.

Ballad’s training facility offers a range of job preparation workshops, as well as hands-on experience in hospitality & retail and industrial skills.

Our facility includes a large shop space, as well as dedicated hospitality areas such as a commercial kitchen and on-site mock café, so that participants can perfect their skills.

Hospitality & Retail Program with training in:

  • Front of House (Service)
  • Back of House (Kitchen)
  • Housekeeping & Laundry
  • Customer Service & Retail Operations

Industrial Skills Program with training in:

  • Manufacturing and Food Processing Fundamentals
  • Transportation and Logistics Exposure
  • Agricultural Operations & Facility Maintenance
  • Tools, Safety Certifications & Workplace Readiness

Participants of the program will have access to support including:
